Lake Bob Sandlin

Bob Sandlin Lake is located on Big Cypress Creek 5 miles southwest of Mount Pleasant in Titus, Camp, and Franklin counties. The lake is 9,004 acres, maximum depth is 65.6 feet, impounded 1977. The conservation pool elevation is 337.5 feet above mean sea level. Fluctuation is about 2–3 feet annually. The water authority is Titus County Fresh Water Supply District.

Lake Cypress Springs

Lake Cypress Springs is located on Cypress Creek in the Cypress River Basin 15 miles northwest of Pittsburg in Franklin County between Mount Vernon, Winnsboro, Pittsburg, and Mount Pleasant. The surface area is 3,461 acres, 7 miles long and the maximum depth is 56 feet and built in 1970. The conservation pool elevation is 378 feet above mean sea level. Fluctuation is about 2–3 feet. The water authority is the Franklin County Water District. Predominant fish species are largemouth bass, spotted bass, catfish, crappie, bluegill, and redear sunfish.

Lake Holbrook

Lake Holbrook is on Lankford Creek, a tributary of the Sabine River, located in Wood county, 3 miles northwest of Mineola. The lake is 653 acres with a maximum depth of 30 feet. You will find largemouth bass, black and white crappie, channel catfish, bluegill and readear sunfish on Lake Holbrook.

Holly Lake Ranch

Holly Lake Ranch located in Wood County is a private and gated community with a mandatory HOA.  They have been around since 1971.  Holly Lake Ranch is in the Piney woods of Northeast Texas.  HLR offers a lot of amenities such as security services, playgrounds, driving range, pro shop, golf course, disc golf, volleyball, private lakes, swimming, skiing, recreational boating, pickleball and tennis courts, trails, fitness center, gun range, pools, restaurants, dog park, private airport, Holiday Inn Club, clubs and groups and so much more. 

Lake Jacksonville

Lake Jacksonville is located 3 miles southwest of Jacksonville in Cherokee county off US 79.  The lake is 1,320 acres with a maximum depth of 62 feet. The reservoir controlling authority is Jacksonville Municipal Water Supply. You will find largemouth and spotted bass, crappie, and sunfish at Lake Jacksonville. You will find boat ramps, and tent/RV camping.

Lake Montecillo

Lake Montecillo is located in Titus County on Blundell and Smith Creeks in the Cypress River Basin, approximately 10 miles southwest of Mount Pleasant.  The lake is 2,001 acres with a maximum depth of 40 feet.  The reservoir controlling authority is TXU.

 

Lake Striker

Lake Striker is on Striker Creek, 20 miles east of Jacksonville.  The lake is 1,863 acres and maximum depth is 35 feet.  Boathouses are not allowed.  The controlling water authority is Angelina-Nacogdoches Co. Water Control and Improvement District No. 1. 

LAKE TAWAKONI

LAKE TAWAKONI is located In Van Zandt, Rains, and Hunt counties, 15 miles southeast of Greenville on Caddo Creek and the South Fork and Cowleech Fork of the Sabine River. The surface area is 37,879 acres, maximum depth is 70 feet, impounded in 1960.  The conservation pool elevation is 437.5 feet above mean sea level.  Fluctuation is 3-9 feet.
