Richland Chambers Lake is located on Richland and Chambers creeks, east-southeast of Corsicana on US 287. The surface area is 41,356 acres, 330 miles of shoreline, and the maximum depth is 75 feet, impounded: 1987.

The conservation pool elevation is 315 feet above mean sea level. Fluctuation is 3 feet. The lake is in Freestone and Navarro counties. This is the third largest lake in Texas and the youngest lake.

There are over 60 subdivisions around the lake, and you can have waterfront property with a boathouse and/or pier. Water skiing, boating, fishing, sailing, bird watching, and jet skiing are allowed on the lake. Species of fish found are catfish, crappie, white bass, hybrid striped bass, largemouth bass, and sunfish.
