There are quite a few smaller lakes in Morris county: Barnes Creek Reservoir, Black Cat Lake, Clayton Lake, Clear Lake, Grassy Lake, Greenhaw Lake, Lost Lake (1,296 acres), Reddon Lake, Slaton Lake, and Twin Lakes.

Lake Dunlap is on the Guadalupe River east of New Braunfels, Off I35. The lake is 410 acres with depth of 40 feet and the water controlling authority is Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority.

Lake O’The Pines is19,780 acres with a maximum depth 49.5 feet 25 miles northeast of Longview in Marion, Morris, Upshur, and Camp counties.

Lone Star Lake (Ellison Creek) is 1,516 acres in Morris County on Ellison Creek, on the west side of City of Lone star.  Maximum depth 40 feet.  Water controlling authority is U.S.Steel.
