Kilgore TX

Kilgore is in Gregg county off of I20, US Highway 259, and Texas Highways 31 and 42. In the 1930’s Kilgore became an oil boomtown. Visit Kilgore college and the Kilgore College Rangerettes (they have a fantastic museum at the college). Zip code area is 75662 and 75663.

Longview TX

Longview is in Gregg county off of US Highway 80 & 259, and Interstate Highway 20. Longview has a historic downtown, yearly hot air balloon race, fine arts and fairs. Zip code area is 75601, 75602, 75603, 75604, 75605, 75606, 75607, 75608 and 75615.

White Oak TX

White Oak is in Gregg county. Zip code area is 75693.

Lake Cherokee is in a portion of Gregg county.

Lake Cherokee is 12 miles southeast of Longview in Gregg and Rusk counties. The controlling water authority is the Cherokee Water company.
Lake Cherokee is a privately owned lake. It is approximately 46,700 acres, 16.53 miles. You may boat, ski, swim, fish and live on the lake. They do allow boathouses to be built. The water controlling authority is Cherokee Water Company. Arrowhead Park is a popular spot at the lake. For the RV'ers out there, I believe you will find some RV Parks close to the lake.
